Mr. Carnes is entering his sixth year of teaching social studies and his second year at Villa Rica Middle School. He holds degrees in both history and political science, providing him with a deep well of knowledge to share with his classes.
Driven by a genuine passion for the past, Mr. Carnes became a teacher to pass his love for history on to his students. His primary goal is to demonstrate how historical events remain deeply relevant to the world they live in today.
