Layla Mayfield is the familiar face at the heart of the VRMS Media Center. Since joining the staff in 2006, she has worn many hats—from leading on the sidelines as a cheer coach to teaching in the gym. Today, she is dedicated to fostering a culture of reading as our Media Specialist. Mrs. Mayfield is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and holds a Master’s degree from the University of West Georgia. She is thrilled to continue her long-standing journey with the Wildcats and help every student find their next favorite book!
