Kimberly Gilman has been teaching middle school Social Studies and sponsoring Student Council in Shawnee, Kansas, since 2005. She holds bachelor’s degrees from Westminster College and the University of Missouri, Kansas City and a master’s degree from Pittsburg State University. She was the state Gilder Lehrman History Teacher of the Year for 2024 and has been part of Fulbright teacher exchanges to India and Eastern Europe. She is moving to Carroll County to be closer to family and is very excited to be a Villa Rica Middle School Wildcat!
