About Ms. Stone

My name is Haleigh Stone and I am a 7th grade Ela teacher and will be this year's yearbook advisor. This is my fourth year teaching but education is in my blood as my mother was a teacher too. I have a Bachelor of Science in Convergence Journalism. I just graduated in May with a master's in Elementary Education. I am passionate about teaching others how to fall in love with reading and writing as they are some of our most powerful life skills. I am an animal lover and have two dogs Sadie and Nikita, and our shy Guinea pig Benjie. I am an avid reader, creative writer, and gamer.
I look forward to getting your student back to loving to read and write again. I look forward to becoming a part of the Wildcat community this year!
