This is Deni Harling's second year at Villa Rica Middle School and teaching professionally. She received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from the University of West Georgia. While attending UWG, she participated in various vocal and instrumental ensembles as an alto saxophone player. In addition, she was the Music Director at The WOLF Internet Radio and frequent volunteer for the International Services and Programs.

Currently, she serves as Color Guard Instructor for Bowdon High School Band of Pride and UWG "The Sound that Lights the South" Marching Band. Her professional affiliations include Georgia Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, Educational Theatre Association, Sigma Alpha Iota: International Music Fraternity for Women, Tau Beta Sigma: National Honorary Band Sorority, Incorporated, and Alpha Psi Omega: National Honorary Theatre Society.
