Media Specialist

Hello students and parents!  I am always happy to see our students at VRMS and help them with their library needs.  I love to read and am readily able to suggest books to our students!!

About Me:

I grew up in Villa Rica and graduated from Villa Rica High School.  I attended Jacksonville State University where I received a degree in Physical Education.  I taught PE at Rome Middle School for 4 years and then at VRMS for 8.  After 12 years of teaching PE, I decided to move into the Media Specialist position at VRMS (after earning my degree at the University of West Georgia) when it became available in 2014.  I have really enjoyed the position and have also enjoyed a more quiet interaction with our students.  I looked forward to many years at the Media Specialist at VRMS!
